1 Timothy 3:8-10
Likewise deacons must
be reverent, not double-tongued,
not given to much wine, not greedy for money, 9 holding
the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. 10 But
let these also first be tested; then let them serve as
deacons, being found blameless.
Mission:
The Deacons Ministry shall assist the Senior Pastor in
being spiritual leaders of the Church. They shall have
the responsibility of assisting the Senior Pastor in the
conduct of worship services, the conduct of the
spiritual affairs of the Church, i.e., visiting and
ministering to members, and to serve in any area of need
that might arise within the body. |
