Supporting New Birth Christian Academy

Annual Fund Campaign The Annual Fund provides an opportunity for those closest to the school—Board Members, parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, faculty and staff and friends—to support NBCA’s mission through philanthropic giving. Underwriting approximately 30% of the budget for the 2007-2008 academic year, the Annual fund benefits every aspect of the Academy.

New Birth Christian Academy operates without financial support from local, state and federal governments, relying instead on tuition income and a strong Annual Fund to sustain the school financially. Tuition and fees do not cover the full cost of a New Birth education. Vigorous growth in annual giving will allow NBCA to remain flexible and focused on meeting its most pressing needs and seizing opportunities that matter most to our mission.

Regardless of the amount, every contribution to the Annual Fund significantly influences the education of our students. When we work together as a family, one person’s $250 gift, another’s $1,000 gift, and still another’s $2,500 gift combine to have an overwhelming influence on the prosperity of our school.

Through the Annual Fund, we honor our commitment to academic excellence; provide our students with a broad range of opportunities to learn, lead and achieve; and ensure that NBCA students are fully prepared to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Everything we do at NBCA is a result of our dedication to the students entrusted into our care.

All members of the NBCA family are being asked to consider an Annual Fund gift to make a significant impact in the daily life of the Academy.

Please know that all contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors to the Annual Fund receive a gift acknowledgement letter from the school as confirmation.

Only you can decide how much to give. Your pledge should be based on your ability to give, your understanding of the need and your belief in the mission of New Birth Christian Academy.

Parent Teacher Association

PARENT INVOLVEMENT:
Because parents play such a vital role in a child's development, New Birth Christian Academy requires all parents be actively involved in the educational and spiritual development of their child (ren). The Bible makes it clear that the family is the basic unit of Christian education, and it also stresses continually the responsibility of parents to teach and train their child (ren) (PROVERBS 22:6). Each parent is required to spend at least ten (10) hours per school year to assist the teacher, the PTA, or volunteer at the school where needed. $200 will be assessed when the requirement is not met.

PARENT-TEACHER-STUDENT ASSOCIATION:
Parent-teacher (PTSA) meetings are held on Tuesday evenings to ensure that parents are kept abreast of what is happening in the school (see Calendar for dates). Attendance at these meetings is strongly encouraged.

Grandparents Club
NBCA’s Grandparent’s Club was birthed on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at our 1st Grandparent’s Tea. The purpose of our Grandparent’s Club is to support the growth and development of the students of New Birth Christian Academy through their God-given gifts, talents and resources.

The Grandparent’s Club will meet once a month. Please contact our Main Office at 770.696.9678 for more information.
