TITUS 2: 3-5
2:3
The
aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour
as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given
to much wine, teachers
of good things;
2:4
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their
husbands,
to love their children,

To
be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own
husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Women
on the Path (WOTP) is a discipleship ministry birthed out of
the heart of our First Lady, Mrs. Vanessa G. Long. WOTP empowers and
equips Christian women in developing a more intimate relationship with
Christ; acquiring a greater knowledge of their Biblical role as women
and applying learned Biblical principles; and advancing the Kingdom of
God through service within and beyond their inner circles.
The 9-Week Discipleship Class
program (excluding orientation) focuses on an expository study of Titus
2: 3-5:
Women participate in a two-hour class session held weekly at New
Birth in the West Wing. Classes are held on Sundays immediately
following 1st service, Wednesday evenings (7-9 p.m.) or Thursday
evenings (7-9 p.m.).
WOTP Discipleship
Class students are also required to complete a minimum of 5 hours of
community service at a pre-determined location.
There are two class sessions
held each year.
Winter / Spring Session
Starts
the 1st Sunday in February
Summer / Fall Session
Starts the 1st Sunday in August
Women
interested in registering for the Discipleship Class should:
Be a New Birth member
Have already completed New Members Orientation (Track I)
Complete the registration form and pay registration fee of
$30
Registration
fee covers class administrative cost, as well as the cost of
program curricula. Books required for the program are at an
additional cost to the participant.
