The Great Awakening Weekend Itinerary

Seven Last Words Service | Friday, April 18 | 12 p.m. (noon)
Be moved by powerful reflections from seven dynamic speakers as they share profound insights on the seven last words of Christ.

Good Friday Worship Featuring Hezekiah Walker | Friday, April 18 | 7:30 p.m.
Lift your spirits with an electrifying night of praise led by Grammy Award-winning gospel artist Hezekiah Walker. Shuttle service will be available from the Indian Creek Train Station starting at 6:30 p.m.  The bus will leave 15 minutes after service.

Bullseye Black Market | April 18-20 | 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday – Saturday | 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday
Support and celebrate Black-owned businesses at our vibrant marketplace, featuring 100 vendors showcasing the best in fashion, food, art, and more.

Family Fun Day & Community Health Fair | Saturday, April 19 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Join us for a day of health, wellness, and community support! New Birth, in partnership with the Atlanta Medical Association (AMA), Atlanta’s premier association of African American physicians is hosting a Community Health Fair alongside Emory University School of Medicine, Georgia Gear, Samsons Health and Fitness Center, and The King’s Table.

Event Highlights:

• Free Medical Services and Pediatric Care for children and adults — valued at over $2,000 (75 medical provides)!  Screenings include: Vision,Cholesterol,Glucose, Height weight BMI, Bariatric Vascular, Podiatry, Chiropractic, Dental, Orthodontic, Pediatric, Infectious disease, Diabetic care, Urology, ENT – ear nose throat, Sports physicals, Support for under privileged mothers, Free car seats,Pancreatic cancer informational, Medicare insurance, Medicaid insurance, Free yoga classes, Home health care, Hospice care, Prostate cancer, Awareness, Dermatology – Skin Analysis, Dialysis information, HIV testing, COVID testing ,Flu shots.
• Easter Dinner on Us – The King’s Table will provide nutritious food for 1,500 families in a drive-through distribution that begins on campus at 9am on Saturday, April 19.
• Youth Fair – The youth component of the Family Fun Day will feature bounce houses, a petting zoo, face painting, and games, as well as pediatric health screenings and sports physicals.
• Fitness Fair – Tours of Samson Health & Fitness Center along with free featured classes including, Samson Senior Fitness with The Guru of Abs – DaShaun Johnson, E.F.F.E.C.T. Fitness Class, Trap Boxing with Mike Starr, and Well Reserved Yoga Class for strength and mobility.
• Cooking Demonstrations to inspire healthy eating at home
• Giveaways, Prizes, and Surprises throughout the day!
