Background Check

Thank you for completing this important step to volunteer with New Birth. Your commitment to giving your time and skills is highly valued and greatly contributes to our mission. To ensure a positive and productive volunteer experience, we have established the following guidelines for all volunteers. 

Please note: Volunteering does not guarantee employment with New Birth. While we greatly appreciate your support, it does not imply any promise or commitment to future paid employment.

Background Check

The successful completion and clearance of the background is required before beginning your volunteer service.  Submitting your background check is not an approval to begin volunteer service. 

 

Why are background checks required?

  • New Birth’s insurance carrier requires this process to help safeguard the church from liability exposures. 

 

What happens next after submitting your background check

  • The HR team will review the background check and contact the ministry/department leader for your area of service.
  • A representative from the ministry/department will contact you with the next steps to get you involved and serving.

Please:

Complete ALL fields;

Use your full LEGAL name and street address (No Post Office Box Numbers)

REVIEW ALL INFORMATION FOR ACCURACY. RE-SUBMITTALS WILL RESULT IN FULL FEES BEING CHARGED. New Birth cannot reimburse you for submitting incorrect information.

Be prepared to pay a $26.25 processing fee by debit or credit card.  (A national check is conducted.  If you lived in other states outside of Georgia, additional fees may be incurred.  New Birth has no control over the fees.)
