Join us for AIDS Awareness Day hosted by our Health Services Ministry in our vestibule. This AIDS Awareness Event will focus on the faith-based community’s responsibility to raise awareness, provide open dialogue, and integrate prevention, treatment, and management with faith.  Participants include:
o AIDS Health Foundation (AID Atlanta) – Obtain a 1-minute rapid test to learn your status. Visit their mobile testing unit located outside of the bookstore side entrance.
o Healing Our Village, Inc.
o H.Y.P.E. to Empower, Inc.
o And more…
• Attendees will have the opportunity to learn their status, access understandable literature about HIV/AIDS, and gain knowledge on prevention and management in a safe environment.
• Vendor tables with free literature.
• Informative, short videos from H.Y.P.E. to Empower, Inc. on the impact of HIV and AIDS in the community and amongst youth.
• On-site HIV testing.
• Distribution of home test kits with instructions.
