The Mission of the Prison Ministry at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church is to equip and restore those impacted by incarceration.

The ministry ministers to the needs of those involved directly or indirectly in the incarceration process in 3 capacities:

1. Visitation-Supporting jails, prisons and youth detention centers by providing worship services, mentoring, life skills, entrepreneurial training, recreational activities and events.

2. Family Support: offered through the Prison Ministry Family Support Group. Meetings are held every 4th Saturday at 11:30 am for family members where they are provided spiritual support and resources.

3. Re-Entry: provides access to services that will help the ex-offender to transition back into society.
