Hey New Birth family!
Get Ready! On Sunday, June 22, we’re flipping the script and taking worship outside for EG Field Day! While parents are in service, our children and youth will be outdoors, enjoying an unforgettable worship experience in motion.

Get ready for games, friendly competition, and laughter—obstacle courses, relays, races, and the highlight: a dunk tank featuring Dr. Hawkins himself! Bring your energy, sunscreen, and sneakers—it’s going to be a day full of faith, fun, and family!

Old School vs New School Basketball Game – Saturday, June 21st @ South Dekalb YMCA (6 PM – 8 PM)

Who really has game — Old School or New School?
Join us Saturday, June 21st at Samson Gym for a legendary battle of the generations!

Our students face off against adult leaders in a community-centered game packed with energy: cheerleaders, a live DJ, halftime performances, a dunk contest, mini-games, and a trophy presentation.

Deacons, better bring your Bengay—you’re going to need it! This event is about connection, mentorship, and having fun together. Wear your team colors, bring your voice, and let’s pack the gym EG style!

EG Food Drive – Thursday, June 24th @ MLK High School (12 PM – 2 PM)

This summer, we’re taking service to the streets!
Join us Thursday, June 24th at MLK High School from 12 to 2 PM for our EG Food Drive in partnership with TKT.

With MLK High School pausing their usual summer food distribution, Emerging Generations is stepping up to support families in need. We need your hands, your prayers, and your heart—whether organizing, loading cars, or greeting guests.

Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. See you there!

EG Takeover: Graduation Sunday – Sunday, June 29th @ 9:30 AM

This isn’t just another Sunday—it’s EG Takeover Sunday!
On June 29th at 9:30 AM, Emerging Generations will lead worship, praise, and celebration throughout the service.

We’ll also honor the champions from our Old School vs New School basketball game with a live trophy presentation. Don’t miss the energy and spirit of our next generation leading the way!

EG Family Skate Outing – Sunday, June 29th (1 PM – 3 PM)

Time to skate, New Birth family!
After EG Takeover Sunday, join us for our Family Skate Outing from 1 to 3 PM at a private rink.

Whether you’re a pro or just holding onto the wall, it’s all about fun and fellowship. Space is limited, so grab your phone, scan the QR code, and register today!

EG Group Therapy – Tuesday Nights in June (10th, 17th, & 24th) from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

• Guys (6th-12th) @ Samson Gym: Partnering with the Quincy Carter Foundation, NFL’s Orson Charles, and Samson Gym for real talks on mental health, addiction, finances, and more, followed by hoops, flag football, and a word from Dr. Hawkins.
• Girls (6th-12th) @ Resolution Room: Teaming up with Unveiled Princess to explore vision boarding, self-care, image shaming, and confidence-building in a space designed just for teen girls.
• Children (3 years – 5th grade) @ New Citizens Room: Join the children’s ministry for Pizza, Pajamas, & Praise (P3)—worship, Bible lessons, and a pizza party. Don’t forget your pajamas!

This is your space for connection, growth, and breakthrough. Bring your friends—see you there!
