Groups @ New Birth
Groups are now live!
Groups are now live!
God designed us to live in community, not in isolation. That’s why Groups at New Birth exist—to give you a space to build meaningful relationships, grow in your faith, and experience the kind of support that changes lives.
Groups are how you find community at New Birth—places to grow in faith, make real friends, and “do life together.” They meet on campus, online, and at New Birth–approved locations. Most run in 8–9 week semesters (some meet year-round) so it’s easy to jump in anytime. We offer four kinds of Groups so you can find your fit: Social (connection & shared interests), Serve (outreach & ministry teams), Grow (Bible engagement, prayer, discipleship), and Support/Care (encouragement through life’s challenges). No experience needed—just come as you are and bring a friend!
Most groups meet in semesters—typically 8–9 weeks—so new people can jump in easily and often. This rhythm also lets you explore different groups throughout the year. As relationships grow, many groups choose to continue together each semester—and new members are always welcome. We also offer a number of year-round groups for those who want to keep “doing life together” continuously.
There are currently 4 group types see below.
Groups are led by Hosts—trusted, facilitator-trained leaders approved by New Birth. Some Hosts are ministers, some are ministry leaders, and many are trusted lay members—everyday members of our church family who love Jesus and people. Each Host is equipped to foster community, guide discussion and prayer, and help you take next steps.
