June 1 - June 30
This is the month of UNUSUAL SERVICE. Let’s go all in!
During the month of June, the entire New Birth family of local and virtual members will come together to serve our communities. Our mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ through UNUSUAL SERVICE, making a meaningful impact wherever we are. Together, we will contribute more than 10,000 service hours and touch our community in incredible ways.
To join the movement, simply register here.
Then, follow these three simple steps: Pray, Serve, Post.
- PRAY: Ask God where He is calling you to serve.
- SERVE: Choose your area of impact and make a difference.
- POST: Inspire others to serve by sharing your experience on social media using the hashtag #NBSummerOfService.
On June 10 and 11, join us for the Church wide Cleanup. We need all hands on deck as we freshen up spaces throughout the Cathedral and Family Life Center.
Additional volunteer opportunities are available on the New Birth campus, throughout metro Atlanta, nationally, and abroad. Partner organizations and ministries include, but are not limited to:

Summer of Service Virtual Member Instructions
Virtual members can participate by supporting service initiatives remotely through outreach, prayer, donation drives, community engagement, and selected partner opportunities available online.
