From Resurrection Power to Unusual Adjustment

Apr 9, 2026
Greetings, New Birth family!
It is with immense gratitude and excitement that I write this. The opportunity we have as members of New Birth to grow spiritually, connect with like-minded individuals, and plant purposeful seeds in our community is truly unmatched. My prayer is that the presence of God, unity, and spiritual renewal will rest on you throughout the month of April.
This Resurrection Sunday was not just a celebration; it was a divine encounter. The power of the Resurrection is still moving today because it is not merely history; it is living power. It reminds us of new beginnings and gives us victory over every obstacle.
I encourage you to meditate daily on Romans 8:11:
“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”
As believers, when we read the Word, we must open our hearts and spirits to receive the promises of God. During our Resurrection Sunday service, the worship experience prepared the atmosphere through music and unity, and God moved powerfully in the room. There were breakthroughs at the altar, and many new members joined after a compelling sermon reminding us that collective advancement is greater than individual achievement.
Our focus for April is Unusual Adjustment.
We are trusting that God is shifting things unexpectedly in our favor. To align with His purpose and the new blessings He has for us, we must be willing to break old patterns. What God is about to do may not look familiar, but it will be divine.
Growth requires change, and change can be uncomfortable. Yet, God often works outside of our comfort zones. We see this in the lives of Moses, Abraham, and Peter. None of them operated in familiar circumstances, yet each experienced divine blessings through their obedience. Your next level may require an unfamiliar step of faith.
Let us remain encouraged and spiritually open to how God is moving in our lives. This means being willing to adjust our habits, mindsets, and routines so that we stay aligned with His will. If your heart feels prompted, listen and shift. It will be worth it.
We will trust God even when things feel different or uncomfortable. Prayer, fasting, consistent church attendance, and studying the Word are practical steps that keep us aligned with His will.
This month, we are waiting expectantly on the Lord for breakthroughs, divine opportunities, and unexpected blessings. We will anticipate His movement because He has never failed us, and He never will.
April will not be ordinary; it will be transformational.
God is faithful, and He continually gives us more than we deserve. The unity at New Birth is powerful, and together we will encourage one another to stand on His promises. We celebrate the Resurrection, and now we walk in its power through every unusual adjustment God is making in our lives.
