At New Birth, we believe in building every area of our members’ lives—spiritually, socially, and economically—because faith without works is not enough.
Under the leadership of Dr. Jamal Harrison Bryant, Black Ground transforms that belief into action through homeownership, economic development, education, financial empowerment, and community care. Every initiative is an investment in the full lives of our people and the future of our community.

New Birth Village | Homeownership
Expanding access to homeownership as the foundation of generational wealth. Through New Birth Village, we are creating pathways for families to put down roots, build equity, and establish lasting financial security.
02 · Common Ground
The King’s Table | Food Security
Combating food insecurity throughout our community. Every first and third Saturday, we show up to serve and distribute food because a church that builds must also feed.
03 · Higher Ground
Education | Civic Engagement
Higher Ground advances people through every dimension of opportunity—from scholarships and skilled trades training to voter education and civic leadership development. Each pathway strengthens economic independence and civic power because protecting our rights is inseparable from building generational wealth.

Business & Entrepreneurship
Black Ground is committed to helping create one million new Black-owned businesses by 2030. Through our marketplace, networks, mentorship, and resources, we help entrepreneurs transform ideas into enterprises and enterprises into generational wealth.

Financial Literacy
Providing the knowledge, tools, and strategies necessary to build credit, manage money, invest wisely, and create wealth that can be sustained for generations.
