Mother’s Day Miracle with Paula Monroe

1. How long have you been a member of New Birth?
I have been a proud member of New Birth for two and a half years. It has been a life-changing experience, and I am so grateful to be part of this amazing spiritual family.
2. What ministry are you currently serving in?
I currently serve in several ministries that I am deeply passionate about. I serve as one of the facilitators in the Believer’s Circle, Worship, and Arts Department, and the King’s Court at the King’s Table.
3. What are some of the joys you experience as a mom?
One of my greatest joys as a mother is watching my children discover who they are and grow into their God-given purpose. Lately, it has been especially rewarding to watch them become involved in Emerging Generations. Witnessing their love for Christ and their desire to grow spiritually and live in everyday moments is one of the most fulfilling parts of motherhood.
4. Can you share your testimony?
Absolutely. I was raised in the church by a praying mother and grandmother. While I knew Scripture, I later realized that knowing Scripture is not the same as having a real relationship with Jesus. After a failed marriage, I found myself homeless with my three children. God remained faithful—He never let us go hungry and always provided. Through His grace, I went from being homeless to renting Section 8 to owning my own home. I will graduate with my bachelor’s degree in January 2026 and begin my Master of Divinity program. God alone gets the glory for the story He is writing in my life.
