How has serving in this ministry impacted your personal faith journey?

Serving in evangelism has stretched my faith in the best way. It’s one thing to believe God can move—but another to step out and watch Him do it. I’ve had to rely on Him for boldness for the right words; being a quiet person works in different sectors; I have a quiet, bubbly personality, so my courage to simply speak is becoming a masterpiece that God has designed just for me for the people to see. My prayers have become more expectant, and I’ve learned to trust that the results are in His hands. My job is just to show up and be available. 

How does it feel to share the love of Christ with strangers?

There’s a unique mix of butterflies and excitement when you approach someone you’ve never met, but that first genuine smile often breaks down all barriers. In those moments, I’m reminded that we’re all made in God’s image, and sharing a prayer or Scripture verse can turn an ordinary knock into a divine appointment. Afterward, I always leave with a fuller heart—knowing that God used my simple “hello” to bring hope into someone’s day.

What’s something surprising you’ve learned about the community through outreach?

What surprised me most through outreach was how much strength lives in our community. People are going through so much—but still finding ways to love and serve each other. I’ve realized that listening is one of the best ways to show the love of Christ. Being part of this team has grown my heart, and I’m thankful for Dr. Jamal Bryant’s leadership—he challenges us, covers us, and leads us to be bold for the Kingdom. I know I’m right where God wants me to be.” We’re at the right place at the right time.”
